The East Lancashire Group of the Alpine Garden Society Zoom Programme Autumn/Winter 2023
We hope you all enjoy and appreciate our excellent lectures and the opportunity to connect with and chat to other friendly alpine growers from around the world. It is certainly fun for us to spread the alpine vibe to fellow enthusiasts both near and far.  Many thanks to all our past speakers for their time, their expertise and such highly entertaining programmes.

As a Group, we have already booked four more amazing lecturers for the forthcoming season and attached below you will find the full lecture/subscription details and dates for our Autumn 2023 Quartet of Zooms, when we will welcome four more titans of the rock gardening pantheon from various countries.

The new Zoom season begins on Monday 25th September 2023 with a fascinating lecture by Norwegian alpine expert; Geir Moen on his innovative and inspirational venture entitled:- ‘Cultivating Rare and Endangered Alpines – A new and developing Climate Refuge Project’.  Geir will expertly guide us around his mountain alpine mecca with special attention paid to the many rare and at risk plants that set his cultivation skills apart from the rest.

Zoom doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Please mark this date on your calendar. This is just the first of four magnificent zoom presentations in the run up to Christmas and all four can be watched by subscribing just £8 per household. For a couple that works out at just £1 per person per lecture!!! Should you feel able to support us further with a small donation, then that would also be greatly appreciated and would ensure that we can contemplate further Zoom Quartets over the seasons ahead.
