In the same area was a large patch of this scilla.

Out on the rock garden in the sun. I used a bit of fill flash for the second shot, which provides a subtle brightening of the front of the plant.

In the crevice garden, there were several large mounds of saxifrage in flower, backlit which mad the yellow ones particularly difficult to photograph.

In the trees in the carpark of the college, the mistletoe was particularly eye-catching (in flower ?)

Excellent set of photos. It's good to see the garden waking up. I'd love to get down there and see it for myself, but work commitments won't allow that at the moment.Thanks for bringing the garden to us.
