The Alpine Garden Society is operated, governed and run by a Board of Trustees, staff and a team of volunteers. Here you can find out more about our structure.

Board of Trustees

The AGS Board of Trustees is the Society’s governing body. The board consists of the President, Director, Treasurer, up to four other officers and eight individual members.

The role of the board is as follows:

  • To shape the future of the Society
  • To manage the Society’s assets and funds
  • To take decisions regarding the strategic management of the Society
  • Responsibility for the assessment of the Society’s performance
