The Alpine Garden Society is governed and run by a Board of Trustees, a Director and other paid staff and a team of volunteers. Here you can find out more about our structure.

Board of Trustees

The AGS Board of Trustees is the Society’s governing body. The Board consists of the President, Director, Treasurer, up to four other officers and eight individual members.

The role of the board is:

  • To shape the future of the Society
  • To manage the Society’s assets and funds
  • To take decisions regarding strategic management of the Society
  • To assess the Society’s performance
