Alveston Manor

The venue is the four-star Alveston Manor Hotel and Spa in Stratford-upon-Avon, which is set in its own grounds just five minutes walk from the cultural attractions of the historic Shakespeare town.

It’s an event that no alpine enthusiast can afford to miss! The conference features a line-up of speakers who have a wealth of expertise and experience of gardening with alpines and exploring their natural habitats.

Open to non-members, the conference will be on the weekend of November 17 and 18 , following the Society’s AGM at the same venue. This year’s E.B. Anderson Memorial Lecture, which forms part of the AGM and is free to all members, will be given by orchid expert Phillip Cribb from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

The AGM and E. B. Anderson lecture are followed immediately by the conference. Don’t miss this chance to tap into a profusion of practical advice and useful information from some of the most accomplished alpine gardeners. You can book your place here on our website or call the AGS Centre on +44 (0)1386 554 790.
