Zoom lecture: Michael Myers – Snowdrops before Christmas

You pay: £9.00 (Members pay: £0.00)

Tuesday 17 December 2024, 7.00pm GMT

In this lecture Michael Myers will focus on how the snowdrop season can be extended by selecting species and cultivars that flower earlier. This period generally starts in early October offering opportunities at the autumn shows and continues into the New Year before the main-season snowdrops start to appear. The early snowdrops have started to attract more attention in recent years and the range of cultivars available is increasing. Five of the selections included feature in a 2021 article in The Alpine Gardener titled ‘Early Snowdrops to Extend the Season’.
