The four-star Chesford Grange Hotel is a few miles from Warwick and Royal Leamington Spa. The hotel is 1.8 miles from Kenilworth Station and 3 miles from Warwick Station. The hotel has a heated pool, spa, gym and health club.
As part of the weekend, this year’s EB Anderson Memorial Lecture will be given by renowned Czech gardener Jiří Papoušek. The EB Anderson Lecture and the preceding AGM are free to attend for all members.
Jiří lives near Prague, where he has constructed a superb alpine garden with a crevice garden, troughs, a woodland area and an alpine tunnel with tufa walls. Jiří has exhibited at the Prague rock garden shows and he is one of the organisers of the renowned Czech International Rock Garden Conferences. Speakers at the conference will include Harry Jans, John Massey, Martin Sheader, Julian Sutton, Kurt Vickery, Timothy Walker and AGS Apprentice Bertie Swainston.
