In bloom in the AGS Garden: May 2018

May 9, 2018

Following the wonderfully sunny May Day bank holiday, the plants in our Pershore garden are looking lovely.

Alpine Garden Society Pershore garden May 2018

Here are a few of our favourites this month:

Camassia leichtlinii caerulea

Though certainly not easy to pronounce, this plant is a beautiful addition to the alpine garden. Masses of star-shaped, dark blue flowers grow on tall stems. This plant likes to be in the sun and prefers a moist, well-drained soil. Typically flowers April – May. Find more information on Camassia leichtlinii.
