Looking to join a group? Have a gander at the map of AGS local groups below to find one near you!
Local groups are a fabulous place to meet other alpine plant enthusiasts, get friendly advice from experts and take part in fun and interesting activities, such as virtual talks, garden visits and more.
AGS local groups are very enthusiastic about new members, so they’d love to hear from you!
The map below shows you where they are in the UK & EIRE.
Click on a location pin to find out more about the group you’re interested in. Then follow the link to the group’s information page in the pin to see what they say about themselves. Easy!
Alpine Garden Society membership and local group membership are separate. This is because local groups arrange their own events and activities, paid for by their members’ subs.
And you don’t have to be a member of the Alpine Garden Society as a whole to join a local group.
We found this a wonderful way for people to experience being part of the AGS family before paying for full membership – which many local group members go on to do!
Of course, we’d love to have you as an AGS member too! You can find out more by visiting our joining page.
