Distinctive Features

Orange-yellow flower usually marked with purplish brown.   Style divided into 12-15 branches.   Corm tunic membranous, splitting at the base

Cultivation Requirements

Cool moist winter.   Warm dryish summer rest.   (Probably best given winter protection in UK gardens)
