We are very sad to report the passing of Chris Mountfort, a long time member of the Society.  Chris and her husband Dave will be well known to many of our members on the Show scene.  Chris was Treasurer for the Loughborough Shows for many years and an extremely hard worker.  She passed away peacefully at home yesterday.   We send our most sincere condolences to Dave and the family.

The funeral will take place at 12 noon on Monday, 13 February at St Wilfrid's Church, Egginton.  (Egginton is just off the A38 south of Derby and just north of Burton-upon-Trent, postcode DE65 6HP).  Refreshments will be provided in the church following the service.

Dave and the family have asked me to let members know that it will be family flowers only please but if you wish to send a donations they are suggesting that they be for either the local church or Macmillan Nurses and Dave is happy to receive these and pass them on.
