Information: Chris trained in horticulture at Cannington College in Somerset and subsequent employment included over twelve years as Parks Superintendent at East Devon District Council and three years as Superintendent at the RHS Garden Rosemoor before becoming self-employed providing a Gardening / Consultancy Service whilst setting up Tale Valley Nursery with his wife Lorraine. The nursery specialises in dwarf bulbs, shade perennials and alpine plants. Chris and Lorraine are also National Collection holders of Standard Dwarf and Miniature Bearded Iris, and of Rhodohypoxis and x Rhodoxis and have won RHS Gold Medals at Chelsea, BBC Gardeners’ World, Malvern and Hampton Court Flower Shows for their displays.
