Warwickshire Group of the AGS
Get to know the Warwickshire Group of the AGS
We are a small group of around 40 members who meet each month during the Autumn, Winter and Spring. We enjoy a lively and interesting lecture programme, plant salesand plant display table; always with plenty of time to chat with others who have a keen interest in plants over a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits. The programme also includes, practical events, garden visits and opportunities to benefit from the knowledge and experience of other members.
The range of alpine plant interests is perhaps surprisingly wide, including alpine and rock garden plants, small herbaceous plants, hardy and half hardy bulbs, hardy ferns and small shrubs. All of this is reflected in our programme.
We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month from September to May. The indoor meetings are held at Bishopton School, Drayton Avenue, Stratford on Avon, CV37 9PB. Meetings start at 7.30pm, and visitors are always welcome. The parking is much improved and the chairs have now been upgraded in size, making life much more comfortable.
