The Epping Forest Group is a friendly local group of the national Alpine Garden Society and is for all those with an interest in alpine plants, whether in the wild or growing at home in the garden, frame or greenhouse.

The Group meets every month from September to May, usually on the second Tuesday of the month. Meetings take the form of an illustrated lecture or a demonstration, followed by refreshments. There is also a plant raffle, sales table and an alpine plant display. During the Summer, June to August, visits are arranged to wild flower sites, gardens or national plant collections.

We meet at Theydon Bois Village Hall, Essex, (CM16 7ER, on the north side of the Village Green), starting at 8.00 pm. Theydon Bois is easily accessible from London, being on the Central Line, and is close to the M11 and M25. There is plenty of free parking.

The annual subscription is £5 and members receive a monthly newsletter by email or post. The charge per meeting is £2 and non-members (£3) are welcome.
