EAST LANCASHIRE LOCAL GROUP
A hearty welcome to the home page of the East Lancashire Group of the Alpine Garden Society.
The Group was formed in December 1986 and its aims remain simple - to advance the appreciation and knowledge of, and the sheer delight to be found in alpine gardening in all its forms.
Regular monthly meetings are held (usually on a Monday evening) and our aim is to make them both informal and informative for enthusiast and beginner alike.
The Group meets at Ramsbottom Civic Hall, Market Place, Ramsbottom, near Bury at 7.45pm. Doors open at 7pm for plant, seed and book sales and, more especially, socialising.
A map and direction sheet are freely available from the Group Secretary and will appear on these pages at our earliest opportunity.
Please click on the link below to obtain a map of our venue - the Civic Hall is just above the letter 'A' on the map:-
Visitors are welcome to attend any of our meetings, though it is hoped that eventual membership of the main Society will prove a temptation that is hard to resist.
This page will be improved and illustrated as soon as humanly possible.
Please be so kind as to return to this page on a regular basis.
