Dorset Show

Thanks to everyone’s hard work yesterday 

our Show was a hugh success.

Over 200 people attended,

the tables were packed with excellent

plants, screens were covered in 

beautiful photographs.

A great day!

The Alpines of Slovenia 

 

 

Graham and Jackie have been leading flower walks for Colletts Mountain Holidays in the Dolomites for ten years. More recently Graham has helped Naturetrek as co-leader to several European destinations including our 2017  trip to the Dolomites.

Janice Bennetts is a member of the AGS Rock History Group and also formed the Research Group for Hampshire’s Garden Trust to identify the needs and opportunities to conserve, protect and enhance its rich heritage of parks, gardens and designed green spaces.  Looking at the history of rock gardens has combined both her interests.

"Jewels in the Garden-

Hepatica and Cyclamen"

 

Diane Clement is a keen exhibitor and judge for the Alpine Garden Society. She specialises in growing hepaticas, cyclamen and woodcland plants in her shady Wolverhampton garden. She is a passionate grower from seed, as befits her current role as Director of the AGS Seed Exchange.

"Alpines for the open garden"

 

Vic has written practical gardening advice for the AGS Journal for many years. He is a keen grower and shower at AGS shows.
