Welcome to the web pages of the Dorset Alpine Garden Society
Our meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month, September through to April, the May meeting is on a Friday.

We meet from 6.45pm for a 7.30pm lecture start, in the warm and spacious Community Hall behind the Co-op in Corfe Mullen. Everyone is welcome! There is a monthly display of 20-50 pots of dwarf bulbs and alpines from around the globe grown by members ...many of them are from South Africa in the coldest months. We have a comprehensive lending library, raffle of many unusual plants, as well as tea, coffee and biscuits!

Every month our secretary arranges an excellent illustrated talk on a range of topics from growing alpines, to rock gardening or plant hunting around the world. You can find the list of this year's speakers on our Programme of Meetings page.

Two shows are held each a year: a local show in March and the AGS Wimborne Show (known locally as the Rocky Flower Show) in May.

We look forward to meeting you either at the shows or meetings. For further help please contact our secretary Christine Chappell
