Birmingham and District Local Group Show

Birmingham and District Group Local Show

Friday 12 April 2013

Unitarian New Meeting Church

As a new venture this year, our local show will be held in April.  This may give opportunities for new exhibitors to show their plants for the first time.  If you have never entered a show before, this is an excellent way to start.  In order to enter, bring your plants along on the day and plenty of advice will be available.  Staging from 6.45 and judging will commence at 7.30.

Awards

The S E Lilley Salver -  awarded for the best plant in the show.
The Birmingham Group Trophy - awarded to the exhibitor with the highest number of first prize points. 3 pan classes count as triple points towards this trophy
The Geoffrey Woodburn Trophy - awarded for the best plant grown from seed. To be eligible for this award, your exhibit (in any class) must be accompanied by a card showing date of sowing, origin of seed if possible and any other interesting information you care to give.
