See below for link to further information and online booking.
Due to the success of the Autumn Conference at the AGM for the last five years the event will be repeated in November 2018. The conference will be held at the four-star Alveston Manor Hotel and Spa in Stratford-upon-Avon, which is set in its own grounds just five minutes walk from the cultural attractions of the historic town. It will be held on 17th and 18th November, and will follow the AGM on the Saturday morning. (This is a change of venue and date arising from problems with our provisional booking at the previous venue - show exhibitors should note that the Shows Handbook went to press before this date was changed and the date printed there on page 3 is now incorrect.)
Conference speakers will include Sarah Carlton from St Andrews Botanic Garden, with more to be announced soon. Full details will appear in the June issue of AGS News and shortly on the website.
The E.B. Anderson Memorial Lecture, which is part of the AGM programme and open free to all members, will be given by orchid expert Phillip Cribb from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
At last November’s conference the AGS granted several free places to young horticulturists and it is intended to do the same this year.
Members can attend either as residential or day delegates with prices starting from £50.
Online bookings for the Autumn Conference will open shortly
