Problems with Cultivation and Identification: Misnamed Roscoea from the Seed exchange

I just took a few photos with Roscoea spp. grown from the seed exchange which are misnamed. I wonder how can this happen when there is so much info available now about the Roscoea. Troubling is the thought that some specialty nurseries are selling these plants as such and of course people who buy them, share seeds and 'propagate' the confusion.
Roscoea scillifolia f. atropurpurea - received as R. alpina, two years ago:
and Roscoea? - received as R. tibetica-narrow leaf form. R. tibetica has leaves in a rosette while in the plant in the image they are clearly distichous.
