The springs deposit minerals in circular ridges under the water.

Above the church at Ratece, the last village, and at one of the boundary points.

Above one of many boundary stones in a field of yellow rattle, Ornithogalum umbellatum and Geranium phaeum.

Walking back a diversion up a side valley to Planica, famed for ski jumping world records.

Above the ski jump car parks towards the foot of Ciprnik, Gentiana clusii? and on the way back sheets of Polygonatum odoratum?

Next day decided to explore a little higher to the east of the valley to the south

That sign post is to Spik. At the first scree-chute usual globularia and dryas, plus Linum perenne...flax was said to be a product of the area years ago.

A few remaining patches of snow up here, in addition to the usual dazzling limestone.

Retreating from rather wild country and exploring the woodlands again

Before the goat, pictures of Clematis alpina (coming out fast during the week) and Thalictrum aquilegifolia. After several days of sun the lower altitude plants on dry ground were going over.
