Primula 'Fantail' hybrid

This was identified by John Richards as a hybrid between Primula grifithii and Primula strumosa, which were often found growing near each other, ut this is the only white plant we found in flower.

A single shot from a group covering several square meters.

The other probable parent of Primula Fan Tail

Primula calderiana ssp. strumosa
Primula bracteosa

This can be found nestling in groups under rocks and in rhododendron woodland.
