Still going strong in December

My garden in Oxfordshire is in a frost hollow but some plants that have been flowering all summer are still looking good. They are rather simple plants, perhaps for the beginner! A geranium probably obtained as 'Ballerina', so lomg ago I cannot remember where it came from

Still going strong in December

An Erysimum, probably 'Bowles Mauve' has been flowering all season.

Convolvulus cneorum has a dozen flowers and a lot of buds.

Abelia is always good in autumn but is a bit too vigorous for its favoured sheltered site.

All the pictures were taken this morning.

I wonder if anyone can recommend attractive Erysimums for the rock garden which can be grown from seed, or anything else that will have a long season if we are lucky with the weather
