Just a few pictures from the Garden at Headquarters taken on the 1st April, 2008. The bed constructed to illustrate the use of easy Alpines is now beginning to get established:

Pulsatillas

The Pulsatillas are still thriving and look their best during March and April.

Anemone pavonina

Both Lithodora zahnii and Anemone pavonina are growing in the south facing Mediterranean bed

Anemone pavonina
Paeonia cambessedessedii

Just about to open, a large vigorous form also growing in the Mediterranean bed. The one I grow at home is tiny in comparison to this.
