Abutilon megapotamicum

In the last few days the climbers on the walls of the house have burst into flower.  The Clematis cirrhosa Jingle Bells which flowered last year from late December to February is in full flower already, and on the back of the house, facing south, Abutilon megapotamicum has produced a mass of flowers.  Every year the frost kills the slender arching stems back to the wall of the house, so it is only in a warm autumn like this that I get a sight like this.
