Does anyone have experience of growing the upright and prostrate forms of Daphne jasminea together and if so have you found one form hardier than the other? I grew a prostrate (Delphi) form for several years in a pot kept in a cold frame and it never showed any signs of frost damage here on the coast of North Wales. I have just acquired a plant of the upright form and wonder if, as I have been told, it is less hardy. Also, are all the forms in cultivation of Greek origin or are some derived from the  NE Libya population?
