Dissappointed with planting in Davies alpine house

Draba longisiliqua

...and Draba rigida planted in a crevice in the sandstone north-facing 'cliff'.

..and finally a lovely mat of Raoulia hookeri.

The photos of the Davies alpine house are very interesting, the planting layout looks much better than when it was first opened.More of a display than a collection of plants.

I understand why the path is wide, but my point is the planting area is out preportion to the path.I would be interested in any other points of view.
