Japanese Fritillaria are incorrectly labelled.

Fritillaria ayakoana

Location Japan: Honshu, Central Shimane Prefecture (26th March 2009)

Habitat Open steep grassy bank with Corydalis, 421 m

F. ayakoana is endemic to Shimane and Fritillaria amabilis is only known from a single location in the extreme south-west of the Prefecture.

Fritillaria muraiana

Location Japan: Shikoku, Ehime Prefecture (4th April 2008)

Habitat In deep shade below Cryptomeria japonica with Anemone keiskeana, 519 m.

F. muraiana is endemic to Shikoku and is the only broad-campanulate species on the island.

Fritillaria japonica

Location Japan: Honshu, Okayama Prefrecture (25th March 2010)

Habitat Gentle southeast facing slope below Castanea crenata, 179 m.

F. japonica is endemic to Honshu. Okayama Prefecture is the western limit for the species.

Numbers 2 and 3 have been mixed up: "Tibesti" should read "Hoggar" (and under nummber 3: Hoggar should read Tibesti). Mount Cameroon is not indicated.
