Iris planifolia

Also from Kew, and given a Cultural Commendation

Iris planifolia
Androcymbium rechingeri

The final plant from Kew, also given a Cultural Commendation

Androcymbium rechingeri
Fritillaria gibbosa

This was a deep and beautifully coloured form of F. gibbosa, exhibited by RHS Wisley.  Unfortunately the plants from Wisley had to be brought by train / underground in carrier bags, and as a result none were large or established enough to warrant awards from the committee.  In addition, several were plants long established in cultivation, which had received high awards many years ago.  My apologies for failing to photograph the best of their plants in the confusion; an excellent plant of Saxifraga Allendale Billows which was perhaps a week off its peak flowering, at which point it would certainly have been considered for an award.

Fritillaria gibbosa
Cyclamen libanoticum

from RHS Wisley.  A lovely, well-flowered little plant.

Iris reticulata Sunshine 00-HW-1

An Alan McMurtrie iris cultivar exhibited by Jacques Amand International. Another to receive a Preliminary Commendation.

Iris reticulata Sunshine 00-HW-1
Iris reticulata Sea Green

An Alan McMurtrie iris cultivar exhibited by Jacques Amand International. This cultivar is more established and was given an Award of Merit.  Sadly I couldn't do the colour justice in the light I had.

Iris reticulata Sea Green
Iris reticulata Storm

An Alan McMurtrie iris cultivar exhibited by Jacques Amand International. Another to be given a Preliminary Commendation.
