A very long trip for me on Saturday  - a 4a.m. start and 450 mile round trip - but well worth it for an excellent show. Thanks to Peter McGuire and his team for all their hard work.

Lots of pictures from me, I spent slightly more time taking and slightly less talking on my journey round the benches. Still never made it to the end of the show - do I ever?

This being an "even" year, SRGC rules applied, and a Forrest (rather than a Farrer) medal was awarded to the best plant in the show. The winner was a pot of Trillium nivale, shown by Alan Spenceley, reputed to be about 40 years old (the plant, not Alan!)
