Possibly the last London Show??

Perhaps one of the hardest shows to enter, staging on the Monday evening or Tuesday morning. Competing with London Traffic, congestion charges, parking spaces and traffic wardens. Some faithful members nevertheless work exceptionally hard to make this a success year after year.

Here with the Sewell Medal 6 pan entry, Cecilia also took the Mooney Cup for the most points in the open section.

Here the fabulous Dysosma delavayi, which has been steadily filling this pan for several years.

While this Paeonia mascula 'Russi' was grown from Jim Archibald seed sown in Oct 1996.

The Asarums too are regular attendees, here A. maximum

and Asarum delavayi

Dick and Val Bathe also had a lot of excellent plants there

Most stunning perhaps were these two Calanthes. Firstly C. discolor which got a Certificate of Merit.
