I'm very surprised that there have been no comments on Log 48. Kaye Griffiths and the Alpine Team at Harlow Carr should be congratulated on what they have achieved, the new Alpine House is magnificent.

Totally agree. I'm hoping to sneak up soon when the boss is busy and have a look see

Like Martin I will be visiting Harlow Carr but, unfortunately, not on Alpine day on Sunday 7th June.I visited the gardens a couple of times last year while work was in progress and I must say it looked, and I'm sure is, magnificent.Harlow carr is well worth a visit, not only for the gardens and new Alpine house but you can of course visit Betty's Tearoom. If you have time visit the Valley Gardens in Harrogate.
