I see form your latest 'blog' John that you have discovered "The Inchnadamph Zoo", a collection of non native alpines some joker introduced on a limestone hillside near Inchnadamph. I don't think anyone even knows when it happened but it quite some time ago. They survive but have not taken over the area so, fortunately, remain an amusement and not a menace. Stumbling on Erinus alpinus on a Scottish walk certainly leads to lots of head scratching!
