I had this plant, grown from John Watson's seed, for several years during which time it grew into a tangled, rounded bush about 50 x 50 cm, bearing plenty of its bright pink daisies in late spring to early summer. It eventually died after being cut back to try and restrain its unruly growth - as it turns out, a big mistake with any mutisia, just let them ramble. Although my two plants produced what looked like good plump seed I never managed to germinate them so I now I have lost it.
