A winter trip continued
One of our favourites at Hortvs and possibly even of the season is this beauty from Tom Mitchell.
Galanthus 'Elsje Mitchell'
There are many different snowdrops in the Hortvs garden from Tom Mitchell, a safe guard against disasters. Here are a few of our favourites that he discovered in the Czech Republic. All unnamed at this point in time.
Peter spent time in the UK before he started Hortv
The garden as a whole has many elements and to see it in Winter, as we did, was very special. Spending over 8 enjoyable hours in it, one can only imagine the Summer. I think we will be making a return journey in the warmer months.
Salix chaenomeloides 'Mt Aso' gorgeous pink pussy
There is a large woodland garden jam packed with lots of yummy plants, some of them for winter and some of them teasing us for spring but you can see its going to be totally ferntastic in Summer.
How about this then, I think it looks like a smalll conifer but its infact a moss.
