Kent Alpine Gardener's Diary

This entry: 24 May 2015 by Tim Ingram

A few portraits.

There is rather too much to do in the garden at the moment to find time to write at more length, but I would like to look in more detail at the Sand Bed in a while, because this has been an ongoing success growing many interesting alpines over the past four or five years (and as has been mentioned elsewhere alpines created little coverage at Chelsea this year).

For the moment just a few portraits...

Gentiana verna 'Alba'

And a couple of pictures of a woodland miscellany planted at the cool end of our propagation greenhouse which has been a delight throughout this spring.

( ...the Wimbourne AGS Show - Rocky Flower Show - coming up next Saturday: the alpines of early summer...)
