A small pond dug at the base of a rock outcrop
In the pond are the white flowers of water hawthorn. Dwarf hostas have been planted round the margins of the pond. Also visible are Alchemilla erythropoda, Fritillaria pyrenaica, Primula 'Garryard Guinevere',Saxifraga, Hacquetia epipactis, Geranium procurrens, not in flower here, provides many rich purple flowers in late summer/autumn.
