South west facing corner of raised bed rock garden.
This raised bed rock garden was created at the front of the house in the summer and autumn of 2011. This photo of the lower south west facing corner of the l-shaped 25 metre bed was taken only 8 months after the initial planting out.

Raised bed in May
Rhododendrons and Azalea's form the backdrop for this South facing slightly raised bed which is at it's peak early in May. Dianthus "La Bourboule", Oxalis "Ute", Delosperma congesta are on the foreground

Terrace with a trough.
The trough contains several erodiums, geraniums and in the terrace behind there are aubrietas, saxifrages including 'Clarence Elliott' and pink thymus backed by Lilium henryi.
