Entry by Graham Catlow

Selected for colour of foliage and flower, foliage interest and seed head interest
Pulsatilla 'Blaue Glocke' with seed heads. Underplanted with Allium karataviense. Height provided by Tulip 'Queen of the Night'. The seed heads of both the Pulsatilla and the Allium continue the interest for an extended period. In the background is Iris 'Black Swan' which flowers a little later than the rest.

Judge's comment: Effective use of form and colour
