Sown Aug 2007 from NARGS seed. A darker, more compact form with long-lasting flowers. Survived last winter in North Cumbria at minus 14 degC for 6 days!

Colchicum speciosum
Grown from seed collected on the Zigana pass in about 1996. They took sveral years to germinate but have grown on quite fast. There is considerable variation; some have good more globular flowers and all have a distinctive white throat.
