Rhododendron lowndesii
This beautiful little rhododendron, that hails from high elevations in Nepal, forms a creeping mat in a permanently moist, semi-shaded spot. It is notoriously difficult to flower well, generally producing a few of its inch-wide elfin flowers on two inch stalks.

Judge's comment: does look in good condition, but would have liked to see more of it. Is shy flowering, but have seen ones with a few more.
