Crocus speciosus "Milde"
This is one of the first introduced Crocuses, where it was planted into the historic garden at Milde, Bergen in 1700's. It has since spread widely in the grounds and makes carpets of colour. Bulbs were given to me by Ellen Schjølberg, wife of the former Arboretum head, Per Wendelbø.
