Cyclamen hederifolium
This plant thrives at the base of a wall in coarse gravel. It gets some humus from fallen leaves. The gravel keeps it sufficiently well drained that it does not rot in the wet climate in Bergen. However, the large brown Iberian slugs we are infested with love it! The flowers in autumn are pure white. This photo makes a lovely desktop background on my computer!
